Membership, Cabot participation, the app, and Course — start here, or write directly.
I got the link. What do I do?
Start at Cabot 2027. You can explore Course immediately.
Already a member? Sign in with the Apple or Google identity linked to your account. New here? Request Membership.
What is Membership?
Membership is your approved Black Lungs account and identity relationship. Apple or Google proves your identity; signing in does not mean Membership is approved, Cabot participation is confirmed, or a leg is assigned.
Pending: your Membership request is awaiting review. Approved: Membership is active. My Black Lungs is your personal home and shows your current next action.
What is the September roster call?
The roster call is not open yet. Eligible members with active Cabot access can record their September expression of interest in Cabot 2027 when the call is open.
September interest ≠ confirmed participation. Membership approval, Cabot access, and app eligibility are separate from participant confirmation.
What happens next?
November: participant confirmation. January: leg assignments.
Do I need the app?
No. You can request Membership, respond when the roster call opens, explore Course, and use the supported website without the app.
When and why should I install it?
The Black Lungs app brings Mission Control, the full Course and My Black Lungs together on iPhone, with optional private Preparation. Race-week and offline capability will follow as it becomes relevant.
Eligible iPhone members: install it when your personal invitation arrives. Follow that invitation to install through TestFlight, then sign in with the same linked Apple or Google identity you use on the website.
Android and web
Android members use the full website. No essential roster-participation step requires iPhone.
